Kristen Jenkins

Chief Financial Officer

Kristen Jenkins serves as Chief Financial Officer of Great American Media, joining the organization in April 2024, reporting to Bill Abbott, President and Chief Executive Officer. In her role, she is responsible for Great American Media’s financial strategy and finance operations, including corporate finance, accounting, and treasury. Jenkins is based in the New York Metropolitan Area.

Jenkins brings 30 years of finance and operational leadership experience in media, technology, and consumer marketplace companies, helping these companies set and achieve their financial and strategic goals.  She is a builder, strategist, and solver, using analytics to help companies reach objectives and set milestones for progressive growth. Jenkins has a passion for building brands, teams, and analytical processes. 

Prior to joining Great American Media, Jenkins most recently served on the finance leadership team of GTT Communications, Inc., a global cloud networking provider to multinational clients. Jenkins worked closely with the senior leadership teams, investors, advisors, and the Board of Directors, on the reorganization and emergence of the company from bankruptcy restructuring.  Prior to GTT, Jenkins’ career includes head of financial planning at XO Group, the public parent company of the The Knot, where she helped the leadership team and banking advisors orchestrate the company’s successful merger with WeddingWire, and sale to private equity.  Her previous senior finance role at Verizon Media included working alongside sales, content, and technology leaders to help manage the content and consumer portfolio that included AOL.com, HuffPost, TechCrunch, Mapquest, and Engadget. 

Prior to Verizon Media, Jenkins’ career includes divisional finance leadership roles at Nokia, NBCUniversal, ViacomCBS, and Warner Music Group. Jenkins began her career, and earned her CPA, at PricewaterhouseCoopers within the assurance arm of the technology, information, communications and entertainment group. While at PwC, Jenkins worked on the audit teams of various IPOs, mergers, and strategic deals, including Seagram’s acquisition of PolyGram, merging with Seagram’s then ownership of Universal. 

Jenkins holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
