Kevin Brown 

Chief Information Officer

Kevin Brown is Chief Information Officer at GAC Media.  In this role, Brown leads the company’s information technology organization, overseeing IT operations, broadcast engineering, infrastructure and IT strategy.  Brown is also responsible for supporting the management, distribution and monetization of GAC Media content and media asset supply chain. 

Brown joined GAC Media in June 2021 brining more than 25 years of technology leadership experience to the company. Prior to joining GAC Media, Brown was a partner in the Dallas practice of Fortium Partners, the technology leadership-as-a-service firm.  During his tenure at Fortium, Brown served as the CIO of RIDE TV where he implemented new corporate systems to prepare the company for its ultimate sale to GAC Media.  

Prior to Fortium, Brown was CIO of East Lake Capital Management, an investment management firm specializing in real estate and healthcare investments. In that role, Brown established an IT strategy, standards and defined integration processes for acquisitions. Prior to that, Brown served more than ten years as the CIO for Daisy Brand, a leading manufacturer of high-quality culture dairy products, where he was responsible for enterprise technology strategy that enabled business process optimization and flexibility. Brown received a Technology Innovator Award by Consumer Goods Technology Magazine for his implementation of RFID technology in the business supply chain with Daisy Brand.

Earlier in his career, Brown was the VP of information systems for StaffMark, where he was responsible for the evaluation and integration of all technology for 30 acquired companies over a three-year period and supported staff in over 300 offices nationally.

Brown holds a BBA in information systems from Baylor University.
