Candace Cameron Bure lights up the entertainment industry as a role model to women of all ages, reaching millions of fans. She is an award-winning actress and producer, New York Times Best-Selling Author, inspirational speaker, committed wife, and proud mother of three. Viewers watched Candace grow up as ‘D.J. Tanner’ in the beloved television series Full House and today see the iconic role reprised on the original Netflix hit series, Fuller House. She has remained a staple in the homes and hearts of families across the country with credits such as: her Emmy-nominated hosting tenure on the TV show, The View and three-year run as ‘Summer Van Horn’ on ABC Family Network’s Make It Or Break It.
Candace has starred in countless Hallmark Channel movies including A Shoe Addict’s Christmas, Emmy-nominated feature, The Heart Of Christmas – and Christmas Under Wraps which broke records to become Hallmark’s most watched telecast ever. She also stars in and Executive Produces the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries series, The Aurora Teagarden Mysteries.
In 2022, Candace joined Great American Media where she serves as the CCO (Chief Creative Officer) to create original content for Great American Family and Great American Living. Classic sitcoms “Full House” and “Fuller House” are both currently airing on Great American Family. Candace won the Grace Award for TV for her role in her first Great American Family film A Christmas…Present and took home the award for Best Family Television at the 30th Annual Movieguide Awards in 2023. Candace’s latest film with Great American Family, My Christmas Hero, will be airing this Christmas Winter.
Candace has a rich history of philanthropic support. She is active with local and global causes and celebrates the practice of giving as an integral part of her character. She boasts long term relationships with Skip 1 organization. Most recently she has served as a celebrity ambassador for The Salvation Army as well as Compassion International and continues to proudly support organizations that align with her passions.
As a dynamic writer, Candace has released eight books including three illustrated children’s books. Her third book, Dancing Through Life: Steps of Courage and Conviction, was another breakout success which chronicled her journey of self-discovery on season 18 of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. Her first two books, Reshaping It All: Motivation for Physical and Spiritual Fitness and Balancing It All: My Story of Juggling Priorities and Purpose made her a New York Times Best-Selling Author.
Candace is also an ambitious businesswoman boasting an array of entrepreneurial endeavors such as: Candy Rock Entertainment, lucrative partnerships with brands like QVC, Dr. Lancer as well many more, and Bure Family Wines, a highly rated boutique wine label launched with her husband Val Bure. Candace launched her size-inclusive clothing line, Candace Cameron Bure, in partnership with QVC in 2021.
Most recently, as of November 2022, Candace has launched her own podcast. With a total of 2.8 million streams in just 7 months, each season of The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast features one guest for a deep exploration of a single theme, with the hope of encouraging listeners to grow in their experiences of faith, family, and purposeful living.
